02
$

Understand total costs

Compare premiums alongside deductibles, copays, coinsurance and other out-of-pocket expenses.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this service really free?
Yes. We are compensated by the insurance carriers when you enroll in a plan — never by you. There is no cost for our consultations, comparisons, or enrollment help.
Are you affiliated with Medicare or the government?
No. Horizon Benefits Group is a private insurance agency. We are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government, the federal Medicare program, or any state Medicaid agency.
When can I enroll in Medicare or change plans?
Initial Enrollment Period is around your 65th birthday. Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs Oct 15 – Dec 7 for Medicare Advantage and Part D changes. Special Enrollment Periods may apply for certain life events. For ACA Marketplace plans, Open Enrollment is typically Nov 1 – Jan 15, with Special Enrollment Periods available year-round for qualifying events.
Do you only offer certain carriers?
We work with multiple major carriers (including Aetna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Anthem, and others depending on your state). Availability varies by ZIP code. We'll only show plans that are actually offered in your area.
What information do I need to get a quote?
Typically just your ZIP code, age (or Medicare eligibility status), a list of current medications if relevant, and preferred doctors or hospitals. You don't need your Medicare number to start the conversation.
